OUR DEDICATION TO SCRIPTURE MINISTRY

What is so special about the Bible?

We believe that God's Holy Writings are alive with His power, telling the life-changing story of His creation and redemption of all things in Christ;

we believe that these Scriptures break the bonds of oppression and sin;

we believe that these Scriptures draw people to God through Christ.

Why do we share the Bible with others?

We believe that apart from Christ the nations of the earth are lost, living in darkness, without hope and without God in the world;

we believe that God's life and light come to people through His Word and this is why He gave us the revelation of Himself;

we believe it is our calling to share this gift with others, not seeking our own profit, but speaking before God with sincerity, as those sent from God, as Scriptures themselves urge us.

What do we commit to do?

We commit to being servants of the Word, to living our own lives by its wisdom and grace;

we commit to honor the legacy of those who have gone before us; to celebrate God's faithfulness through them by dedicating ourselves to this ministry, so that the Word of God will grow and spread;

we commit ourselves to carry forward the mission of bringing the Word of God to the world, God helping us. Amen.
